A quiz team consists of two to six young people in the 6th through 12th grades, along with a head coach and up to two assistant coaches.
Any team, regardless of denominational status or location, is eligible to participate in league competition, which begins each fall. During league competition, a church may have as many teams as it wants. Smaller churches may combine to form a league team with the permission of the coordinator. There are five league meets, which progressively cover the year's quiz material.
