Quizzers who complete the requirements for the Kansas District Memorization Award will be recognized at the Kansas District Teen Bible Quiz Recognition Banquet, which is held at the close of District Finals on April 11, 2009.
To be eligible for the Kansas District Memorization Award, a quizzer must follow the guidelines for the National Memorization Award, as published on the national TBQ website. The National Memorization Award must be used to record the chapters quoted. To be recognized at District Finals, however, a copy of the form must be submitted to the Kansas District Teen Bible Quiz Coordinator by April 7, 2009 (award forms may be submitted by FAX at 913.631.9154).
A quizzer must quote an entire chapter at one time to a qualified Bible Quiz coach or official not related to the quizzer, following the same guidelines as for the National Memorization Award. Gold quizzers must quote all chapters covered for Gold competition; Silver and Novice quizzers must quote all chapters covered for Novice competition. Silver and Novice quizzers may choose to quote all of the Gold chapters and receive the Gold award.
